MCSPCA Rescues Hurricane Pups
This photo is one of the many dogs that will soon be available for adoption.
With special thanks to Ken McKeel who did the driving down south, and to the MCSPCA for their outreach, 34 dogs have been rescued and brought here from the shelters in zones hit hard by the hurricane which now need room for victims' pets. The Monmouth County SPCA always goes the extra mile (and in this case plenty of miles) to save dogs who would otherwise have to be put down due to overcrowding.
The dogs arrived in Eatontown late last night (9/20) and will undergo medical and behavioral evaluations which usually takes a few days. They’ll be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before being ready for adoption.
