It is once again time to test your knowledge of our area and this time it's a Monmouth County Challenge.

Here's what we'll do. We'll give you some key names and facts. Let's see if you can put them all together and come up with the name of the Monmouth County town we're looking for.

It was first officially called by it's current name on January 21, 1830, the same day the town post office was opened.

Giovanni Verrazano was the first explorer to visit the area.

You can sometimes come across fossilized shark teeth in parts of the town, because over 65 million years ago, this town was under water.

It was once the home of New Jersey's largest grape vineyard.

There are your clues, now let's see if you can figure out which Monmouth County town we're talking about. We'll publish the official answer tomorrow morning. Good luck!
