Neon Night 3K Fun Run and Glow Party in Manasquan!

You're invited to have some neon fun this Saturday night and attend a Glow Party, all for a great cause!

This less than 2 mile Fun Run is Oct. 26, 2013, in Manasquan.

It begins at 6 p.m. on First Avenue and ends at Sea Watch with an After Glow Party immediately following the race - a hot and cold buffet hosted by Spring Lake Manor and The Chocolate Bar, a DJ, games for the kids and more!

Light up the night and party neon style to benefit SquanStrong, which has been helping the community since Sandy.

Each registered participant receives a Swag Bag that includes a race tee and some noen strips to get started, and you'll get a finishers medal upon crossing the finish line! All for $25 when you register online, $35 the day of the race.

SquanStrong is still helping people get back into their homes one year later. They are a non-profit, volunteer run, 501c3 organization that was started after Superstorm Sandy struck. Since then, SquanStrong has fed several hundred displaced families, cleaned up devastated areas, knocked down walls and doors, and provided over 150 appliance packages to homeowners. SquanStrong has also run toy drives, adopted families, and built a playground.

SquanStrong's efforts are not limited to Manasquan or to New Jersey. They have helped out all along the Jersey Shore and other devastated areas in the U.S.
