Ocean Township Police Using Mobile App to Report Suspicious Activity

Residents in one Jersey Shore town now have an easy way to anonymously report information to their local police department.

The app, called 'Report It!' allows residents to report suspicious activity in real time. Users reports remain confidential, and the users remain anonymous.

The app is NOT meant to replace 911 for emergency services, but it's a good way for people to easily alert local officials to unusual activity or people in their neighborhoods.
