Police May Have Identified ‘Wedding Crashers’
Police may have identified three people who tried to channel their inner Vince Vaughn over the weekend, turning the 2005 movie Wedding Crashers into reality, and attacking someone in the process.
The Ocean Township Police Department said in a press release that the incident happened just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 20th at The English Manor in Wanamassa.
The three suspects showed up uninvited in suits, partied, drank, and mingled with wedding guests.
It all seems fairly innocuous (albeit very creepy) until it turned violent.
According to OTPD, 'Once the three were discovered, the manager attempted to detain them until police arrived. One of the three males threw the female manager to the ground and all three fled in an unknown direction of travel.'
Really? You throw a woman to the ground and run away? What's the worst you would have been charged with...trespassing? Petty theft? Underage drinking? Now they are wanted for strong arm robbery.
Luckily there was a photo of them, and the police may have identified them as juveniles. We will report more details as they become available.
