Spring – Let The Planting Begin

I know it's a little early, but I couldn't help it. That weather Saturday had me thinking spring and thinking flowers. I spent the whole first half of the day in the yard planting a little springtime.

I enjoy gardening, but I'm no expert, not by a long shot, and I have no idea if I've made a mistake and this is way too early, but I couldn't help myself. The Jersey Shore was hopping on Saturday. Roads were crowded around Point Pleasant, There was lots of traffic and people were taking walks and some were even wearing shorts.

I also think that we will be taking nothing for granted this spring and summer. It feels like a long time since last summer, for so many reasons. So, after all we've been through, planting some flowers a little early isn't a crime. Hopefully there will be a lot more days like Saturday this spring. We could all use it.
