Why There’s Nothing Better Than Summer in Belmar

So much to do in Belmar on the beach and boardwalk both day and night!

I love walking the Belmar boardwalk on a warm summer night. Reminds me how lucky we are to live here and be able to access the beach and boardwalk while others have to plan a vacation just to come.

Here's some of what I saw last night that makes Belmar such a great beach town.

The 33rd Annual Belmar Sandcastle Contest is such a great day for you and your kids. You'll see some amazing sand art that your kids will be awed by! So try to get to the 18th Ave. beach  next Wednesday morning, July 17th, if you can! Even if you can't make it first thing in the morning when they start getting sculpted, if the weather is good and if beachgoers are kind, you can sometimes still see these amazing sculptures into the afternoon or even early evening if you're lucky!

And hey...if you and your kids want to enter the contest, it's a great bonding experience and you could win a prize! Registration begins at 8 am. (Rain date is July 18th.)
