I can honestly say that Chef Mike Jurusz, owner of Chef Mike's ABG in South Seaside Park is one of the most generous men I have encountered in my career.

I was on the road again recently securing my second job. This time around Lou's Toughest Jobs landed us in Seaside Park at Chef Mike's ABG.

With weather like this, we won't be seeing any snow for a while...but who needs actual snow when you can have a Snow Drift Martini?

The support shown by Monmouth and Ocean County residents for the "Mark The Shark Burger Bash" at Chef Mike's ABG in Seaside Park Friday was incredible.

The only thing better than an amazing dinner complete with wine pairings? One that benefits an incredible local charity!

The construction along Rt. 35 is absolutely necessary, both to repair the damage from Sandy, and to make sure this vital roadway can withstand future storms. In the meantime, the businesses that sit along the road are suffering, especially in the furthest reaches of South Seaside Park.

As we begin Autumn 2014, it is already fun to look back at the summer that was here at the Jersey Shore and if you were at Chef Mike's End of Summer Party in Seaside Park, you have some great memories of the end of the summer.

I make no bones about this one...this week's stop is hands down, no question, one of my absolute must-try restaurants at the Jersey Shore!

Learning how to cook a few dishes from a couple of awesome local chefs is good. Being able to taste and try all those dishes when they're done is better... Doing all of that AND having it benefit locals in need? Well that's best of all.
