Delicious! The Jersey Shore’s Most Underrated Pork Roll Sandwich Is Made In Manasquan, New Jersey
Let me make it clear before all hell breaks loose, at the Jersey Shore we call it Pork Roll, not Taylor Ham. I say, Pork Roll, my sisters say, Pork Roll, my parents say, Pork Roll. Everyone I know says, Pork Roll, besides my goofball North Jersey buddy who takes pride in saying, Taylor Ham. He's also one of those people who think Monmouth County is in South Jersey. "North Jersey Matt" is one of my best friends but he's also an idiot! Yes, I will make sure he gets the link to this article...

Now, let's rewind a few days. The waves were BIG, so my friend and I went surfing at some of our favorite Jersey Shore surfing spots. We started the morning in Bay Head, spent time in Manasquan, and then made our way to Belmar. It was a fantastic day in the ocean but my highlight from the adventure was eating a mouthwatering pork roll in Manasquan. Honestly, it was one of the best pork roll sandwiches I ever had! The bread was fresh, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the pork roll was cooked nice and crispy. It was a phenomenal treat before getting back in the water.
With that, I am thrilled to be putting the spotlight on The Cove in Manasquan. It was my first time trying their pork roll and it won't be my last! It might be the best, but right now let's just say The Cove makes the Jersey Shore's most underrated Pork Roll sandwich. Not many people outside of Manasquan know about this place because they opened last summer, during the pandemic. The Cove is just getting started and you should expect this place to have a very successful future. They are located at 539 East Main Street and they are currently open on weekends from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. - KEEP IN MIND, The Cove will open 7 days a week in the middle of June. They also plan on being open late nights during the weekend!
