Over the past few days, we have been talking about the things Liz and Nancy avoided while they were pregnant due to morning sickness.

Nancy couldn't get near chicken, but that feeling has long since passed. Liz on the other hand associates sweaters and turtlenecks with morning sickness since she went through it in the winter months during both pregnancies. She wore a turtleneck for the first time in eleven years yesterday. She didn't get sick.

Here's what experts say women should do or not do to avoid morning sickness, according to medicalnewstoday.com, some seem obvious, some not so much. I hope it helps.

Some of the more obvious ones include getting plenty of rest, avoiding spicy foods and wear comfortable, loose clothing. Other tips include getting up slowly, using ginger to settle your stomach, sniff fresh scents and keep your mind occupied.

Experts also say the flickering of a computer screen could cause morning sickness. If it bothers you, and you can't avoid using your computer, then make the fonts larger and bolder and change the background color to a soft pink or tan.
