Here’s What’s Happening This Weekend at the Jersey Shore

Day and night...you can have tons of fun! Here's just a sample of some of the things you can do!

Weekend events Fri., July 26th through Sun., July 28th, 2013in our area include:

-- Rock and Bowl at the Lanes at Sea Girt on Rt. 35 Saturday nights! The stage is literally right above the lanes and this is great family fun for adults and kids alike! You will frequently catch me and my boys bowling and dancing....we have lots of our birthday party celebrations here, too, during Rock and Bowl. This Saturday night starting at 8 pm ('til midnight) it's Shorty Long & the Jersey Horns! So come out to bowl, eat, drinks from the Front Page Pub (Michele and Lindsay will have awesome drink specials!), and dance! Call 732-449-4942 for more details or to reserve a lane.

-- The Monmouth County Fair continues all weekend, wrapping up on Sunday. New rides and pay one price with $20 wristbands available for Sunday. 4-H animal shows, home & garden demos and competitions, interactive displays, antique cars, a pet zone, Pinewood Derby and so much more! At the East Freehold Showgrounds on Kozloski Road in Freehold. Admission is $7, kids 12 and under are free.

-- Movies on Belmar Beach: Bring your own beach chairs and blanket and either your own refreshments or you can get some there. The movie this Saturday night at around 8 pm is The Incredibles. It's at the 8th Ave. beach and if you get there a little early your kids can have fun running around in the sand while you set up your spot. Great family fun....my kids grew up doing this : ) And IT'S FREE!!!
