We all know that it rained a lot in June here in the Garden Sate. But how much it actually rained may still surprise you.

After a May that had us concerned about winding up in a drought, June really turned it around. The Garden State normally sees about 4 inches of rain in June according to State Climatologist Dave Robinson. This June we saw 8.2 inches of rain.

The good news is the June rain has all but eliminated drought concerns for our area. June's average temperature was 70.6 degrees, which is only slightly higher than average for the Garden State.
