As I take this week and next to thank some of the people who have helped and supported me and so many others in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, today I'd like to thank Lea DeLoy not only for contributing to so many worthy charities including ALS and animal rescue groups, but for what she has done for me.

I spent my whole life as a brunette.

And, throughout the years, I would mention now and again during our morning show that I really wanted a new hair color. I wanted to be blonde.

Not only Lou, but Nancy Reamy and so many others who know me, would say that there is NO WAY I would look good as a blonde. Or they would say that they totally couldn't even picture it.

But they don't know Lea DeLoy from Styling Company in Belmar at 902 Main Street. That woman is a miracle worker! So, since I had known her for years and completely trusted her judgement and sense of style, I asked her if I could go blonde without looking like a freak, and she came on the air and told Lou "I can, and will, make Liz a blonde."

And she did!

Lea is such a great role model. A successful, local business owner, she takes the time to train and groom up-and-coming stylists so that everyone who works there is talented, creative, and amazing at making women all over our area look and feel beautiful.

Whether it's color, cut, styling, makeup, or a special occasion, thank you Lea and all of the incredible girls at Styling Company for your help throughout the years with my hair, whether it's for live events that I am hosting, or pictures that end up on jumbo-trons or billboards, I know I can always count on you to make my hair (and sometimes makeup) look awesome!

Special mention also to Daneza, who has blown out and curled my hair for so many occasions. When I have to be somewhere special, Daneza is up to the task of working her magic on my hair...and makeup, too!

You seriously can't go wrong with any of the stylists at this place!
