A local family has transformed their garage into a Christmas Village, and you're invited to see it.

Whether it was the lighthouse at Sandy Hook, the boardwalk at Seaside Heights, the rock and roll clubs or the different restaurants and shops along the shore, the boys that have constructed this village hope to do the Jersey Shore proud.

Ever since they were toddlers, James (now 15 years old) and Matthew Glynn (now 12 years old) have created their miniature village out of Dept. 56 buildings and accessories that the family has collected for the past 20 years.

When Hurricane Sandy struck, James and Matt decided to transform the family garage into a "Jersey Shore Christmas'. They sent out flyers to friends, family, and neighbors, inviting all to see their village. A large crowd attended and was very impressed with the display. Christmas music was played and hot chocolate and desserts were served to all. The boys also collected donations.

Since that event was so successful, they decided to do it again last year and now this year. This year's "Jersey Shore Christmas" is again being held in their garage this Saturday, Dec. 20th, from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm at 28 Sugar Maple Drive in Red Bank. Being such large supporters of the Wounded Warrior Project, James and Matthew have decided to again raise funds for this worthy cause.

Their mom Michele says her boys have mailed invitations to their soccer teams, classmates, family members, friends, neighbors, as well as to the Mayor of Middletown, Governor Christie, Bruce Springsteen, and Jon Bon Jovi. They have both put so much time, hard work, and love into this year's display, and the family is hoping for a large group of visitors throughout the community to get into the Christmas spirit.

So enjoy a display filled with over 60 miniature buildings and too many accessories and trees to count. Enjoy Christmas music, hot chocolate, desserts and a village night pageant which will run approximately every 20 minutes.Fun for adults and children alike.
