Michaels Craft Store Opening in Brick

Calling all arts and crafts fanatics...you're gonna need to make some room in the house!

Brick is getting a new crafts store!

The Asbury Park Press reports Michaels is opening in Brick Plaza, taking over the old A&P.

They also add that an adjacent section of the plaza will be transformed into a boardwalk-style area with fountains, outdoor seating, and a new eatery.

No word yet on when the new store or that boardwalk area will be open.

The next closest Michaels stores are in Howell and Toms River.

Michaels is one of those stores where I could easily walk in looking for one thing and walking out with a cart full of stuff I didn't even know I wanted. It's a great addition to Brick Plaza!
