You would expect a married couple to say goodnight then roll over and fall asleep. Turns out many are saying goodnight and then one of them walks out of the room to sleep somewhere else.

According to a report at msn.com, nearly one in four married couples (24%) sleep separately. If you think that number is high, you may be shocked to find out out that other studies have that number as high as 40%!

The concept, known as "sleep divorce" according to CBC News, is actually a positive practice because constantly getting awoken by your partner can be a bad thing for you and the relationship. One of the big reasons for sleep divorce may be snoring.

So guys, if you are a snoring machine and heading to the couch, pillow in hand, just remember you may be doing your relationship, and your wife a big favor.
