Porta And Pascal & Sabine Restaurant Owners Expand With Another Opening In Asbury Park, NJ
The restaurant owners of the iconic Porta (try their grilled octopus) and Pascal & Sabine are expanding!
They just opened up a brand new spot in Asbury Park called Homesick. The official address is 552 Cookman Avenue in Asbury.

Form the look of it, their goal is to make you comfortable...almost like giving you a small slice of home with the décor and the menu.
I was able to get in touch with the restaurant's co-owner, Mark Hinchliffe and here is what he has to say about his newest restaurant:
"We’re focused on really simple, beautiful food and drinks at Homesick – the menu will change often throughout the seasons, with everything made from scratch (most of it by us, some of it by our friends). It’s light and fun and constantly changing."
If you look at the photos shown below, you can see for yourself that there is a really comfy yet bougie feel to this place. Remember....pinky out.
But this won't be your typical restaurant.
According to Hinchliffe, "there will also be a market inside of the restaurant where we'll be curating food from brands we love. [Inventory will include] small-ware, flatware, oils, spices, canned foods, apparel -- an ever-rotating arrangement of things."
If you take a look at their website, you can make reservations online which is a super helpful tool to utilize during the peek Summer months.
I also urge you to take a look at the menu.
One of the first things you will see is written at the top: "Everything is made from scratch - a lot of it by us, some of it by our friends - so expect your cocktails and plates to take a little time getting to you."
Food is considered artwork and quality art takes time and precision. But I am going to bet money that it will be worth the wait.
So take a look at all they have to offer on their website but now...let's take a look at some exclusive photos. (Thanks Mark!)
Remember...pinky out!
