Three Wishes For Summer 2017 At The Jersey Shore

It's May! So lets talk about Jersey Shore Summer 2017. It could be the best one in a long time.

Here's what I hope for this summer for all of us here at the Jersey Shore. It's a little wish list I think we can all agree on.

No Big Storms. I can't believe how many people are still dealing with Sandy related issues and I don't want to see any more pain. And I don't want to see any more major beach erosion. We can't control the weather, but we can hope.

Great Weekend Weather. We all deserve good weekend weather so we can do the things we want to do this summer, and our local businesses need it. We'll take good weekday weather, too, but we don't want to seem greedy.

Parking Spot Luck. Just a couple of times this summer, wouldn't you love to be looking for a spot and someone is pulling out of one just as you approach. I know it never happens that way, but a Jersey guy can dream, right?

There are many more wishes for this summer, but here on the first day of May, let's start there and see how it goes. Baby steps. At least we're not rolling our eyes when we say the word summer.
