Winter White Wonderland Martini – Cocktail of the Week
This drink is as pretty as it is delicious, and is perfect for convincing yourself that winter isn't so bad. (The booze will help with that too.)
Now, there are many ways to make a drink like this, and while some versions are fruit-based, this one is creamy and smooth, and looks as silky as a painting of a winter wonderland.
- 1.5 oz. vanilla vodka
- .75 oz. white chocolate liqueur (like from Godiva)
- .75 oz. clear creme de cacao
- .5 oz. coconut rum
- 1 oz. milk (or cream)
- shredded coconut or white chocolate curls, to garnish
- white chocolate sauce, to garnish
Dip a cocktail glass into white chocolate sauce and then rim with either shredded white coconut or white chocolate curls. Shake remaining ingredients with ice and strain into garnished glass. Voila!
Switch it up:
If you don't like coconut flavor, simply use more vanilla vodka, or use a different (clear) flavored rum -- think chocolate, raspberry, or orange.
Use more or less of any ingredient to suit your tastes!
