For Your Kids: Virtual Ocean Fun Days

17 days of virtual ocean fun are set to begin October 10th!

It's the 17th annual Ocean Fun Days -- A multi-day event full of online fun, videos, and educational activities from more than 30 exhibitors. There is something for everyone!

This is all brought to you each and every year (usually live from Sandy Hook and Island Beach State Park, but virtually this year) by our friends at New Jersey Natural Gas and The NJ Sea Grant Consortium.

It's is a free, eco-friendly event that can be used by families to learn together about our ocean, and an excellent way for teachers to make exciting lesson plans for their students with educational resources and activities made available to you! There are fun and educational videos, printable handouts, tutorials and so much more.

Ocean Fun Days is a way to make coastal stewardship and energy conservation easy to understand and participate in.

The youngest virtual visitors will even be able to try their hand at the Energy Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win a cool prize pack!

Ocean Fun Days begins Oct. 10th and runs through Oct. 26th. There's something for all of you, kids and adults alike, to enjoy. So mark your calendars and join in!
