Our latest Jersey Shore Poll's goal was to find out how much sleep we're getting at the Jersey Shore, and the results are in.

The findings of this poll are not exactly shocking, but at the same time, they really shine a light on just how little sleep we're getting, and it makes you wonder how we're all getting through the day.

An amazing 67% of Jersey Shore residents are getting between 4 and 6 hours of sleep a night. So, two thirds of Jersey Shore residents are getting 2 to 4 less hours sleep than recommended each night. So some people are 20 hours behind by the time Friday arrives.

And here's more shocking news. only 8% of Jersey Shore residents report that they're getting between 7 and 8 hours sleep. Exactly 0% say they're getting more than the suggested 8 hours.

Here's how the results broke down by hour range. Most people (42%) say they get between 5 and 6 hours of sleep. 25% say their nightly sleep ranges between 6 and 7 hours.

Another 25% only sleep between 4 and 5 hours, a a lucky 8% manage to sleep between 7 and 8 hours, making them the only Jersey Shore residents even close to getting enough sleep.

Maybe this is why we're so cranky around here sometimes. And we're pretty sure these facts won't make things any friendlier on the Garden State Parkway or Route 9.
