Asbury Park is home to some amazing businesses and some of the stories behind them are just as amazing. That's the case with Asbury Park's Juicebeach.

We spoke to Cathy Gallo, owner of Juicebeach in Asbury Park  to learn a little more about it. Juicebeach has been around for 10 years now, and that is part of this amazing story. It was there when Asbury Park was not quite yet the hot spot it is today.

People told Cathy she would never make it, but her love for Asbury Park and her commitment to Juicebeach has dealt with challenges from Sandy to Covid and it has stood the test of time and has proven her doubters wrong.

Cathy was a corporate executive who  at a young age was sick from a compromised immune system She  went to Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida and in her words, "healed myself through Juicing and the science of nutrition" .

She then graduated as a health educator in order to help other people like and was inspired to open Juicebeach on on Cookman Ave. with her sister back in 2011. Juicebeach specializes in 3 day cleanses as well as smoothies protein shakes, wheatgrass shots and much more.

You may remember back in 2018 they partnered with Playa Bowl , and in 2019, along with her business partner Anne Sears opened the boardwalk location. They are now a healthy fixture at the heart of the amazing Asbury Park beach and boardwalk scene.

We're hoping this is a great summer for Cathy and all the business owners in Asbury Park and up and down the Jersey Shore. We have a feeling it will be. Learn all about this great business at the Juicebeach website.
