Open Letter To Jersey Shore – Showing Big Hearts And Strength
This is a challenging time for everyone, and the Jersey Shore is no exception. But, we are famous for our resilience.
As we all go through this, I have seen some true signs of that Jersey Shore resiliency, strength and heart that we are so famous for. All you have to do is look back to the aftermath Sandy and 9/11 to see what we are made of.
Of course, there are exceptions to this, here and everywhere, but overall, I think we should be proud of the care and concern a vast majority of us are providing our families and neighbors.
There is no question that there is fear, questions and in some cases downright panic. It certainly can be frustrating, but we are still human. Everyone handles these situations in there own individual way, and some handle it better than others.
But from my vantage point, what I'm seeing is people who love their families, want to help their neighbors, want to support local business and do what can to volunteer and donate when they can, and that's the Jersey Shore I know and love.
I know we're all on edge and understandably so, put take a minute to give yourself credit for being the good, caring person you are, and we'll get through this. Each day is a day closer to the end of it.
And if you're among those who haven't taken the advice of the authorities and the experts, you need to step up immediately for you, your family and your neighbors. Let's face it, we all need each other now as much as we ever have.
I'm proud to say I'm from the Jersey Shore, and frankly, I've never been prouder. Have a safe, healthy weekend Jersey Shore, and keep showing the heart and soul we're so famous for.
