Poll Results – What Are Most Shore Residents Planning For Labor Day Weekend?

Now that Labor Day weekend is here, we decided to find out what Jersey Shore residents were planning on doing for the holiday weekend.

So we asked you if you were heading to the beach, staying home or visiting friends or family, and here are the results of our survey.

According to your votes, the vast majority of shore residents are keeping it close to home, with only 9% of those who responded saying they are heading out of the area to avoid the holiday weekend crowds.

A decent number of area residents are going to head to our local beaches and boardwalks, with 18% saying that was in their plans for the weekend.

The vast majority of people though say they are very happy to be attending a local party with family or friends (73%), so most of us will be eating burgers and hot dogs and staying close to home for this big Labor Day weekend at the Jersey Shore.
