Leave it to New Jersey when it is time to identify finger-licking good barbeque food.

Red White & Que Smokehouse started as a local hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Kearny who opened in February of 2016 now plans to expand their BBQ talents nationwide. Since their opening, RWQ has since expanded to seven locations including Manahawkin, Barnegat, Scotch Plains, Randolph, Little Egg Harbor, and Easton, Pa.

Ironically enough, Red White & Que Smokehouse got its start after store owner Dan received a smoker from Katie as a housewarming gift for their new home after his home was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Once he started smoking, he just couldn't stop.

A major theme of Red White & Que is to give back to those who have served. 15 of their employees are veterans and their restaurant is known for their pig roasts that allow for those who have served to eat free due to customer donations to their "Buy A Vet a Meal" program.

To add to the hype, Red White & Que will be appearing on "Guy's Big Project" on The Food Network this Fall!

And now to dive into the food. The top dishes that are a must try are their Texas-style brisket, St. Louis cut dry-rubbed ribs, and Carolina pulled-pork with various sauces including spicy BBQ, Sweet Que, and Pepper Vinegar. Plus, don't forget those homemade recipes for mac and cheese, vinegar coleslaw, and country style potato salad.

So now that I am craving BBQ food at 9 AM, I think I need to take a break and stop looking at these photos and give you all a chance to check them out yourself.

WARNING: PROCEED WITH CAUTION IF YOU DID NOT EAT BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER!
