From my days in college until now...no other coffee has tasted exactly as good as this one.

I recently had my son in the car as I was driving past this historic coffee house/restaurant in Long Branch, and I just had to introduce him to my favorite kind of coffee.

To me, there is nothing that says comfort like a Dutch Coffee topped with a ton of whipped cream from The Inkwell Coffee House. I have yet to come across another place that makes it exactly like The Inkwell does.

I have been drinking that coffee since I was in college at Monmouth University and just one sip of it brings back so many memories from my teens and 20s. It's amazing how a flavor can trigger your brain!

Sure you can get it to go...but the BEST way to drink a Dutch Coffee is sitting inside the porch room at The Inkwell after dark...the atmosphere is as wonderfully bizarre as ever and my son was hard-pressed to describe how being there on a Friday night struck him --the closest he could come was eerie, fun-house, artsy, starving artist-type college haunt. And don't let that scare you off---it's what makes the Inkwell one of a kind!

Thanks for sticking around all this time, Inkwell!!!
