It was a normal weekend at the Jersey Shore, if you consider earthquakes and boats on the Garden State Parkway normal.

The earthquake happened Saturday morning at 7:13am to be exact. No one was injured and there were no reports of damage, although patch.com reports shaking could be felt for miles. The quake registered 1.9 and lasted about a minute.

Then there was the boat sitting on the Garden State Parkway yesterday (Sunday). The boat slipped off it's trailer and sat across the Parkway, closing all lanes near exit 98 until it could be removed. There were no injuries reported and the boat was taken away in about 15 minutes, according to nj.com.
