I realized after a summer of deciding to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, it's time to do something about it.

I'm not looking to do a formal diet necessarily. In the past, I've been pretty successful with a calorie count. Just being aware of how many calories you're consuming sometimes is all you need to make better food decisions.

When I realized how many calories I was drinking, let alone eating, I was pretty surprised. Without paying too much attention, I was probably drinking 800 or 900 calories a day. Consuming almost 1000 calories and not even having eaten anything is probably not a good thing right?

So many people have had success with different diets, and if you have, congratulations to you! Feel free to let us know what you did to succeed in the "comments" section. Maybe you will inspire someone else to reach their goal.

If you are trying to eat better, cut out the junk food and drop some pounds, I wish you all the best. It's never easy, but it feels good when it works. Good luck!
